007 night

Last night, Jo from Hausstylish and I created a James Bond event for our boys kindergarten.  The night kicked off at 7pm with cool tunes from the boys of DC3 and followed with games of Blackjack led by Nic, our croupier for the night, from King Midas Fun Casino

It was such a gorgeous night (and a mild one too which helped) with loads of fur, fancy jewelery and tuxedos adding to the ambience of the night.  Thank you to Vasha from Global Trends for providing us with the Ostrich Feather Displays - they were fabulous!

Thank you to Esther from In A Pickle yet again for providing us with some yummy entrees and to TJ for whipping us up individual noodle boxes which were a hit!

Thanks to everyone involved in making this a night to remember!

Lemon inspired wedding

I'm completely into weddings at the moment as my youngest sister is getting married in February.  She purchased her wedding dress a few days ago so we are all dizzy with wedding plans and it's so exciting looking through all the inspiring images on some amazing blogs.  Here's a wedding that I tracked down through Style Me Pretty and I'm totally in love with all the little features they used like the old typewriter and of course the oversized balloons (which we are already in the process of ordering for my sister's wedding).

You can view more of this gorgeous wedding here

Elegant Baby Shower

Here's a little baby shower I recently styled for one of my sister's close friends.  My sister did a lovely job of putting all the details together for the final display.

Brisbane Gift Fair

And the Gift Fair extravaganza has begun in Brisbane today with my good friend from Hausstylish, Jo and I hitting the fair as soon as the doors opened.  We were in event and interior styling today as we soaked up all the wonderful new products on offer.

My highlight was most defintely the contacts and wonderfully creative people I met whom I know I will forge great business relationships with over the coming years.  I am thrilled to of met a supplier that is helping me out with our next event which is a James Bond theme.  I'm thinking large black and white ostrich feathers, gorgeous lanterns hanging from the trees, martini glasses with crystal water beads, a black and white dessert table and of course some swinging jazz type tunes.....I love cocktail parties don't you?
